Met GFA question

I can't find what GVG stands for in the AIP met section, I have seen it on GFA's? Any Idears?

There are a few of them that aren't defined that you just have to figure out.
If I'm confused I just call FSS and ask em'.

They usually know!

If you're looking at the weather on the internet, there is this option:

It's Environment Canada's Manual of Abbreviations (appropriately called MANAB). I've found it quite useful, it took me forever to find. You can sort by English, the abbreviation or French on the left.

GVG isn't in there, but GV is GIVE so I'm pretty sure GVG is GIVING.

On the left, there is a link (Rules for Word Ending) to the rules governing how the abbreviations can be ended.... :wink:
