Blue Dude, are you having an identity crisis? You are blue but want to be red, green, yellow maybe even orange some day! Just kidding, good luck with the jazz thing.

Hi guys,
here how it will be next year at Jazz:
First groundschool Jan. 9th, 12 guys, one groundschool every 2 weeks.
Having talked to the Jazz instructor the ratio CRJ/Dash is going for the dash now. Dec.12th groundschool was 16 CRJ and 4 Dash8 , next year will be the opposite, but it might change.....As it goes u better of on the Dash, because senior dash guys will jump on the RJ soon and new hired on the CRJ r frozen up to 3 years.......u get it....upgrade much faster on the dash. One other thing: don t quote me one this one but, rumors around here says they want to double (or almost double) the pilots number within the next 3-5 years. Good times ahead for sure !
Good luck to all of you.

Hey King Air Guy,
Congrats on getting through to the medical.....
When did you do your sim? How long did they take to get back to you?
Cheers,

Has anyone been offered Jan 23rd g/s? Is it definitely going ahead on that date or delayed because of the holidays?

Keep in mind that everything changes quickly. I posted the same info a month ago after my GS, and little did I know the next GS had only 10 guys in it.

Hopefully Jan 9th and subsequent ground schools will be mostly dash spots in the west.

I would highly doubt if there were any RJ spots out west. All RJ spots have been in YYZ and YUL so far.

A reliable source tells me that folks being interviewed just prior to the holidays are looking at groundschools approaching late Feb.
Have also heard that HR has about half of the candidates it needs to fill the new positions.
Best of luck.
