Another profitable year for the airlines! :D

Great to see the profit share cheques but have to ask, what will Air Canada pilots get with the profitability of the company?

Delta is issuing $1.4 billion!!

I believe it's zero as we conceded our bonuses during our last contract negotiations.

So what's the truth?

I see United & Delta posting record profits and their pilots will get massive profit share cheques.

What will AC pilots get in 2025?

AC pilots won't see any profit sharing.

A program still exists, but the EBITDA level to trigger it very high. This airline will never reach that level of profit, or at least the executive accounting will never let it reach that level as it's much higher than the executives need to maximize their own incentives.

Why on earth did you agree to this in this pilot negotiating market?

We compare ourselves to whatever is the flavor of the day. Worst case we compare ourselves to garbage men and then when they get paid more...you say "well then become a garbage man".

Really inspiring union stuff.

The "logic" was that the profit share was an unknown certainty and the guaranteed pay raises accounted for the occasional profit share.

I’m for it. Pay me today on a negotiated scale rather than maybe a bonus once a year based on conditions someone else controls.

A top pay service director would have gotten less than $2,000 in profit sharing last year. Cabin crew never had any real profit sharing bonus to speak of.

Good thing you don't negotiate for United or Delta

They are getting an extra 7+ & 9+ percentage bonus in a couple months. Superior pay without giving up their bonus. Too hard of a concept for some!

And enjoy that long call reserve and training outside of block with 50% deadheads on top. Lol...

I don’t think you know what long call reserve is.

Profit share was always a joke, I'm glad its gone. I'd much rather have higher salary that means guaranteed pay within my control, vs. something based on numbers that the company can fudge.

This is peak Air Canada stupidity.

Execs are literally paid on bonuses and they just took that away and you're happy with it.

I guess United & Delta pilots aren't as smart as you.

I wanted both. The EBITDAR floor is basically unattainable. I’ve got zero incentive for the company’s OTP and efficiency. They could’ve incentivized the pilots instead the efficiencies are going out the tailpipe.

WJ kept both… not sure why this concept is defended of taking the guaranteed money in improved pay-scales….
