As of 03 2024 Michael Rousseau had been granted 1,962,819 stock options(50) and 755,430 stock rights(56) under the Long Term Inventive Plan. I won’t do the math at the current stock price….
I wonder what the new balance will be for him this year? And the rest of the executive suite are also sufficiently compensated for their efforts.
ALL PILOTS IN CANADA ARE UNDER COMPENSATED!
End rant.

Re: SEDI search
IMO the stock price wont go anywhere with an accountant CEO. There is no corporate direction, vision, with obvious cost cutting operations and no employee buy-in. I'm surprised the entire leadership group hasn't been turfed with analysts putting the value at $30/share yet the market holds it below $20. As a stockholder I want a change in leadership based on stock price performance alone.
I don't really care if the executive team is rewarded in stock options. It's their incentive to increase the price. Their inability to do so is what's concerning.

Stock hasn't done shit in 5 years. Notorious financial commentator in the US has a saying, "never invest in anything with a Canadian CEO." Ouch

Like Calin Rovinescu? Yeah, he was pretty bad for the share price.

Re: SEDI search
Nationalized Canadian. He was born in Romania. Even though he was tough on pilots and pilot contracts there was never a doubt with the direction of the corporation and his ability to finance it. I'd take him back in a heartbeat over Rousseau (Monty Brewer V2.0). AC is a rudderless ship right now.Stratopaused wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 4:01 pmLike Calin Rovinescu? Given how shrewd CR was, how do you think the recent contract would’ve gone if he was still around?yycflyguy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 9:28 amNationalized Canadian. He was born in Romania. Complex systems won’t survive the competence crisis
Re: SEDI search
Would’ve turned out the same as what we got. It wasn’t so much a factor of shrewd management negotiations as it was the pilots tripping over their own dick again.cdnavater wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:13 amGiven how shrewd CR was, how do you think the recent contract would’ve gone if he was still around?yycflyguy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 9:28 amNationalized Canadian.
