2 Professional Helicopter Aerial Application Pilot WANTED

Wetaskiwin Aerial Applicators Ltd. requires 2 qualified commercially licensed Professional Aerial Applicator for the 2025 season to fly a Bell 206 Helicopter.
Applicants must have or be:
1. a minimum of 3 years or 500 hours aerial application experience, liquid and/or dry
2. a minimum of 500 hours single pilot turbine experience (including a minimum of 50 hours on the Bell 206 or similar)
3. a BH06 type rating
4. an excellent working knowledge of dynanav/satloc/agnav/tracmap GPS systems and associated flow control devices or similar
5. an Alberta aerial pesticide applicator licence
6. acceptable by our insurer with an accident-free record
7. proficient in numeracy, reading, writing and speaking English
8. competent at task planning, organizing and decision making
9. bodily able to perform a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment
10. Current Medical Aviation Certificate
11. Able to work across central Alberta (short term, will return to main location in Wetaskiwin, AB)
12. a valid driver’s licence (minimum Alberta class 5 or equivalent)
13. a good honest attitude with integrity
Beneficial assets to have or be:
1. other provincial aerial pesticide applicator licenses
2. forestry and/or silviculture work experience
3. a farming and/or forestry background
4. mixing/loading aerial application ground crew experience
5. spreading and/or external load experience
6. oilfield pipeline, right-of-way or similar survey or aerial application experience
An abbreviated list of required duties is to:
1. fly a rotary wing turbine aircraft safely and efficiently with an aerial application guidance GPS
2. work with customers to create work orders, organize product and other required materials
3. work in a professional manner with all individuals
4. perform daily checks on the aircraft and ground support equipment
5. keep work orders, job sheets, logbooks organized and up to date
6. be available to work when conditions are conducive to aerial application
7. maintain a current Canadian Commercial Pilots License and Provincial Aerial Pesticide Applicators License
8. perform elementary maintenance
9. follow and obey the CARs
Wages are as follows:
1. Paid monthly at a rate of $95 per hour, 40 hours per week, overtime with remuneration
2. Wages are based on acres covered in a season, this depends on weather and economy
3. Bonuses based on performance
4. Workers Compensation coverage as required by law
5. Contractors are welcome
Employment Term: Seasonal - Full Time from April 20, 2025 to October 20, 2025.
