SkyNorth Air Ltd. is seeking to add Full-Time M1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers or M2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with
intent of pursuing M1 Licensing; to maintain a growing fleet of King Air Series Aircraft and Mitsubishi MU-2 Aircraft.

Flexible & negotiable Schedules / Over time options available.


Compensation:
Pay Negotiable, commensurate with experience.
M1 Licensed starting at $60/hour.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Management team, must perform the following duties listed maintaining the highest level of safety standards and attention to approved policies and procedures:

- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Company fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and approved company procedures.
- Perform all required aircraft inspections, maintenance and servicing; with removal of aircraft systems, components and inspection panels, gaining access to inspection areas and components inclusive of but not limited to engines, avionics, hydraulics systems, landing gear, primary and secondary structure, and operational medical equipment.
- Troubleshooting and rectification of all aircraft systems
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, instructions, to successfully complete required maintenance tasks.
- Performance of assigned tasks with the use of all required tooling and specialty tooling inspecting, servicing and maintaining spare parts inventory
- Record all maintenance performed.
- Assisting or perform general maintenance and servicing of hangar equipment and facilities.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned promoting efficiency and accuracy within company processes and procedures.


Requirements & Qualifications:
- Valid Transport Canada AME license - category M1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or M2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with intent of pursuing M1 Licensing
- The ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC and hold a Passport.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Safety oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform all listed job duties including but not limited to bending, sitting, standing, gripping and lifting to a maximum of 50lbs, pushing and pulling on a daily basis.
- Perform all duties both indoor and outdoor, employees must be able to adapt to all environments and weather conditions.
- Related experience working on King Air series 200, 250GT, Mitsubishi MU2, PT6 series and Garrett series aircraft experience an asset.
