This whole thing has been a very “people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” thing from the beginning. Why don’t we talk about the obscene amounts of overtime you YUL LEC Chairman does. He won his last election by 4(four!) votes. The main reason- the obscene amounts of overtime he has always done due to partial flight release. Meanwhile the MEC chair has lapsed several times due to lack of currency. The LEC chair’s election is this fall- is this some way to prove to the group that he is a changed man?

Anyone in YUL can call GR anytime and get a fast response. He does his job whether you like his OT or not. He gets it done every time and all the time. Why do you think he was National Grievance Chairman for so long and won case after case? He’s a talent. He most likely won YOUR cases too.

Why would you have a problem with a pilot earning his own money AND handling your problems while he’s at it?
