Which fleet? Which position? Which base?
DH8 YTZ FO - 11 months
DH8 YTZ CA - 4 months
I don't have E2 numbers or numbers for other bases.
Thanks for sharing. How many hours are DH8 FOs flying while on reserve? Just wondering how long it takes to build up the time on type for left seat upgrades.

Any idea how much flying new hire Dash FOs on reserve are doing?
FO's get a mixed block for the first 6 months after their initial line check. So a mix of flying and reserve. After 6 months it looks like most new FO's are getting called about 50% of the time.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it. So after the initial 6 months it's 100% reserve or basically whatever schedule their seniority can hold? Are those initial 6 months aimed at building experience with the Dash 8 and the operation?

After 6 months you get 100% reserve (maximum 17 days) until your seniority can hold a schedule, which is another 4-7 months. The purpose of the mixed block is to ensure some flying and thus keep your skill set up.
