Strong reputation is good but that's not the only thing that I would look into, there is other things such as maintenance, instructors level, scheduling (some of the big schools can't offer you more than a couple flights a week).
That’s what I plan to do. I just want to shortlist a few before coming!

Please don't become a flight instructor just to get the permanent residency. There are other options to work and getting hours, and an unmotivated instructor is not the best kind of instructor.
No, I’m genuinely interested in being an instructor. I don’t want to do it just to build flight hours. I’d like to either become a flight instructor or work with seaplanes. But we never know what the future holds, maybe I’ll start on the ramp, who knows!

Could you tell me about your background? Which school did you attend, what was your first job, and so on?
