Anyone have any strange and unique Christmas traditions?

I stay up to 3AM on Christmas eve and call my family in Mexico. They are usually pretty hammered as is the tradition in Mexico.

LOL go to the bar with a friend in the afternoon before dinner and drink to his father who was killed in a car crash Dec 20th.

A tad sad on a good day. But he has a tough time with christmas so we need to support him

We use candles on the tree instead of lights. Old school European style. Then we get drunk and hope the house does not go up in flames!

I put an aluminum pole up in place of the Christmas tree. Then dinner with the family includes "The Airing of Grievances." Dinner is then followed by "The Feats of Strength."
