Anybody know the status of platinum's startup/progress? (rumors won't help)

Heard that all that's really happening is that they are pumping in a few hundred litres, every couple of months into the planes to keep everything running smoothly, until they can be off loaded. Too bad really...

That is a shame. Any new start up is good for the industry.

I understand they are still trying and the aircraft are not offered to the market so who knows when they will start.

I did notice yesterday that their sign is still on the door at their hangar. Did not step in to have a look mind you.

THEY ARE LONG GONE.
Corpac was bought out by them, but then it fell through.
Now I hear Avia bought Corpac.

The problem was that they elected to buy airplanes built entirely of platinum... and lots their shirts in the process 8)

Now I hear Avia bought Corpac.
How many people have left and have gotten fired since its birth? Doomed for sure. Heard they're getting into the frieght moving business.

They start flying June 1/06. They had the plane out flying couple of weeks ago. Everything is now in place with them. Just finishing up some loose ends, its a done deal.
