Expect to wait 4-6 months in the dash 8 pool. Anything less, consider yourself lucky!

No DECs expected for the foreseeable future, mostly focused on transferring remainder of interested Dash 8 crews.

One of my friend from Porter told me that all classes, including Dash & E2 both have been postponed until March.

Yea I heard the exact same thing. Quite unfortunate to wait until the spring. Does porter have a cap at how long you can be in the pool before having to reapply?

I don't believe so, only a time between unsuccessful applications, which IIRC is 6 months.

Confirmed, as of now classes delayed until March. Embraer cannot get engines, and wings now due to procurement from third party vendors.

Wings? I’m assuming the manufacturer cannot finish aircraft because wings are not being produced?

I just found an article about the E1 having fuselage supply chain issues but the E2 only has engine delivery issues and goes on to say that that has/is improving. Where did you get the “wings” information?

Avelo bought a 100 of them in the US. And many around the globe purchasing smaller amounts. Haven’t heard anything about wings. I assume fake news.
