I have seasonal asthma normally caused by the changing of seasons from summer to winter, I’m allergic to dust which sometimes provokes it. I hold a cat 1 medical. Is this something I need to bring up with the CAME next time I go in for a renewal ? will I have to go do extra testing ?

One of the questions for a Cat 1 medical is, have you visited a doctor for any reason? I’m fairly certain if you lie you can be fined or worse and lose your medical.
From what I’ve read, you can hold a Cat 1 with mild controlled or seasonal asthma as long as it’s controlled by a medication that is approved but you should be disclosing it.

Yes turns out I reported it from the very start lol, I must’ve forget whether I did or not was never really sure, which.. Anyways during my renewal I brought up again, all good; Asthma is allowed if controlled as long as it’s mild. Thanks for the reply though…. Safe flying !!
