Instruct at 2 flights schools?

Post by ellinas »

Hello

Just wondering, can a flight instructor teach at 2 flight schools in Canada. I assume you have to follow the duty times but just wondered if other instructors have done it.

Thanks

From a CARs perspective yes. Duty times don't apply to flight instruction but that could have changed.

What you need to think about if you're an employee (as opposed to a contractor) is that you have a duty of loyalty to your employer.

Thanks for sharing, not an employee just a contractor.

There are too many instructors in labor market looking for a job. Working in 2 schools might end up with lost both jobs.
