Is Claude going to Hawaii this Christmas?

Post by 737Drver »

Just chatting with a couple friends on the WJ MEC, and wow… the reputation of the Jazz MEC leadership, especially Claude, is absolutely in the gutter across ALPA.

So genuinely, where is the recall at? How long does this circus keep going? As someone who flew at Jazz in a previous life, it is honestly wild and sad to see how far things have fallen with scandal after scandal, zero strategy, zero leverage, and no meaningful plan to improve the lives of Jazz pilots or the broader industry.

How many expense scandals does it take before people say enough?

Is Claude already planning his annual trip to Hawaii on the members dime? Maybe lining up another flow through agreement with Hawaiian while he is at it?

Wild stuff.

You have always been extremely critical of both the JAZ MEC/Executive and Jazz pilots for voting the way they do on various tentative agreements. I’m not sure why you are so interested in what happens here. It’s kind of weird. Anyway,
the Executive Officer terms end in February of 2026 so there will be an election near the end of January. Whether CB runs again or another candidate gets voted in will be decided at that time. Carry on

I hope he goes to Dallas or Atlanta this winter! I wouldn’t mind a flow through to Delta or one of the other majors. Or maybe he will have a staycation and cook a nice big turkey at the ALPA office with those fancy new appliances and watch Christmas Vacation and Bad Santa on that big screen TV.

Is it Wagya Filet Mignon at the Jazz MEC Office served with Château Margaux?

Or more of a Prime filet with Macallan 18?

Followed with a Quinta do Noval “Nacional” Vintage Port
And Crème Brûlée?!

Dues well spent especially after all the successes

From someone on the outside gotta admit as have to admire the guy’s taste in Classified French Vintages and quality Single Malt. Glad it isn’t on my tab though.

That for your typical office work days…
For a special occasion like Christmas, Claude is served a whole Ortolan, drowned in Armagnac of course, with a magnum of Domaine Romanee Conti Grand Cru, ideally a ‘67
They say it gives him the strength and vigour required to negotiate flows agreements with American mainline carriers.

Isn’t it wild that Jazz is still shackled to a seventeen year old labour deal? At this point, shouldn’t Claude only be drinking booze from the same vintage as his labour relations mastery?

Does this thing age like wine or like milk left on the ramp in July? Every other labour group in the country manages to negotiate normal contracts, yet somehow Jazz is stuck with the Rip Van Winkle of labour agreements.

So if being locked into a deal until 2035(with a full wage re-opener in 2029) is so shitty then why (in your own words) did AC do such a poor job with open bargaining in 2024?
Yet another person that just lives to complain and is never satisfied with anything. If you’ve got this whole bargaining thing figured out so well, go volunteer with your negotiating committee at AC or become a rep.

Lol...

Even if you don't like AC Pilots World Class Contract deal at least you have to respect the deal was only 4 years...its up for negotiations again in just over a year in 2027.

Man Jazz Claude disciples are hilarious. 17 years...

Yes I respect and understand that AC owns their flying and is in an entirely different bargaining environment than Jazz is.
