Job title: Float Pilots: DHC-2, C208 Amphib.
Location: Red Lake, ON (CKS4)
Start Date: May 1st, 2026
Term: Full-time/summer contract
Accommodations: Provided

Description:
Superior Airways is currently looking for experienced float pilots to join our team for the 2026 float flying season. Successful candidates will have a passion for the Canadian wilderness and enjoy working outdoors in a fast paced, established float operation. Time on Type is an asset, however thorough training will be provided for the right individuals. Salaries are competitive in the industry and will be based on the individual's experience.
Our fleet of float aircraft includes:
Two (2) DHC-3T Turbine Otters
Two (2) C208 Amphib Caravans
One (1) DHC-2 Beaver
One (1) C-180
Superior Airways offers year-round charter services, on float and wheel equipped aircraft, throughout Northern Ontario and Manitoba. Superior Airways strives to provide excellent training and guidance to our flight and ground crews.

Qualifications:
• Legal right to live and work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license (class G or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Current Class 1 Medical
• Transport Canada Commercial Pilot License (fixed-wing) with Seaplane rating
• Excellent communication skills
• Egress training (recurrent training can be provided if required)
• 1000 hours total time, 500 hours float

Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to work safely and effectively alone and in a team environment
• Adherence to all applicable Transport Canada rules and regulations
• Coordination with dispatchers, ground staff, and flight crews with regards to flight operations
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections
• Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers
• Ensure cleanliness and general upkeep of their aircraft
• Safe loading and unloading of aircraft
