New Hire Bases
I am starting at Jazz in March and I know most new hires are currently being based out west. Any idea how long it would take to hold YUL currently for each type and which aircraft would be the fastest option to get based there? Also any input if there is going to be other ground schools planned after march would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
Thank you
Re: New Hire Bases
Not sure of dates but there will be more classes.
As for the question about time, that requires a crystal ball. But be prepared for a year before you get back to the eastern bases if you end up in the west.

Seems Q400 positions offered in initial are YVR or YYC lately due to attrition.
RJ and EMB are mostly YYZ and YUL lately. All 3 types are offered in YUL.
However, as stated above, a crystal ball is required to figure out what it will be.
Re: New Hire Bases
Jazz only hired 62 pilots in 2025 so things have been really slow for the new kids getting off reserve or getting a base transfer.
