I just checked and you can apply today if you wish. If you can’t find a way to apply for the job with the resources presented how would you find pertinent information while performing the duties as FO. I sense you and others need to be spoon fed everything and don’t have the ambition to figure things out yourself.

Oh thank god! Someone else gets it. That’s what I kept asking this captain dusty roads here. He is saying his friends applied to encore in January, without a job posting for FO on careers page.philaviate wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 3:16 pmThere are no open postings. Has anyone tried just going to their offices?
Back in my day I had to walk In knee deep in snow both ways to get a job. Call me a boomer all you want. Maybe do the unexpected and knock on a door if you want a job.
Obviously bring a resume. But the startle factor on their end might actually put your papers at the top.

Haha, I’m not sure you can just walk in. When I was there last year for the recruiting event they had security and you couldn’t get past the lobby. Maybe they’d let you in if you explained nicely why? Not sure.CaptDukeNukem wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 1:43 am Has anyone tried just going to their offices?

But attending the recruiting open houses they hold regularly would effectively be the same thing I guess. Get your face out there, shake some hands. I found it useful. Remains to be seen if it helps me get a job though!

Pretty straight forward. A bit weird recording myself in a one-way conversation but not too bad. I scoured these forums pretty thoroughly beforehand, most advice passed around was pretty spot-on.philaviate wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 2:40 pmHow was that?
