Hiring Contact

Post by ghost-account »

Hey, just wondering if there's any way to reach out to Porter HR. Looked around for an email or something and I can't find anything.

I'd been keeping an eye on my application for months and it recently just changed to "did not attend" but I had never received anything. Checked my icims profile and realized I made a typo in the email I signed up with. Any way to reach out to someone and explain or am I just pooched at this point? Was excited at the idea of joining so any help would be appreciated.

Email recruiting would be my suggestion.

There’s a lot of applicants who take time to triple check their applications before submitting. You clearly didn’t do that and now want to whine to them. If you can’t submit a basic application with correct details how would you do with initial training and line flying? You probably blew your chances for awhile. Try another operator and learn from this.

Don’t listen to this poster, he honestly has no idea how it works, he is a pilot stuck flying king airs and has been blackballed from the airlines!
He has appeared here under many different alias’s, currently wondering why his application is not progressing with summit, we all know why!
To be fair, kind of correct saying that you should have double checked your email and probably started inquiring when you didn’t receive a confirmation email. However, I will say that it could have been on their part, I recently discovered that my FAC(firearms) email was one letter off, trying to get a confirmation number to access my account and wasn’t receiving the email, it was so subtle that I didn’t notice the second time trying. I believe this was an input error on their part when I first applied however the reason doesn’t matter, it happens.
So, I would call Porter main office and see if you can get a number or email and explain what happened, ask what they would like you to do, ie; start a new application or fix the current one and change your status to in progress.
I don’t think this will be a deal breaker, just means you have been delayed! Good luck

Appreciate the response, I recognize the username and don’t put much stock in their reply. I had to correct email on my resume, just signed up with the incorrect one. Oh well, I’ll see if I can find the phone number and reach out. Appreciate the lead.

My colleague received the same, not sure but I’m assuming his info was correct. He thinks he missed the email.

Email went to my junk folder. Glad I checked it that day.
