We are seeking a full-time AME and AME in training. These positions are at our CYSB home base and out bases.

Established in 2016 due to inherent shortfalls in the Canadian Aerospace sector CAMX Aerospace has helped clients coast-to-coast-to-coast and abroad with acquisitions, logistics, maintenance & spares.
We are TCCA approved to maintain over 65 types of aircraft from light piston to turboprop and jet aircraft.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/ AME in training role located in Sudbury, ON with occasional travel (accommodation provided). The candidate will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems to ensure airworthiness and safety.
Qualifications
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence M1 and/or M2
Experience in troubleshooting aircraft systems
Familiarity with Airworthiness standards and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Type course holders for citation 550/560, CRJ series, Challenger 601,604,650 series, DHC 100,300, Q400 may be offered signing bonus.
Experience with multiple aircraft types is a plus
Hours of work
Your regular scheduled shift is 9AM to 7:30PM Monday to Thursday, this is subject to change due to AOG or extenuating circumstances. Work/life balance is always taken into consideration.
*Rotations available, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off*
Overtime
Overtime will be averaged as per the CAMX Aerospace Notice of averaging of work.
Probationary Period
Your employment is subject to a probationary period of 6 months beginning on your start.
AME In Training - (Apprentice) Pay Scale
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Training 1 - 25/hr (COMPLETION OF TCCA APPROVED COURSE)
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Training 2 - 28/hr
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Training 3 - 30/hr
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Training 4 - 32/hr (SCA)
AME Pay Scale
AME 1 - 40/hr (ACA M1)
AME 2 - 44/hr (ACA M1/M2)
AME 3 - 50+/hr ( ACA M1/M2 & Type course)
AME (Touring) - 44-65/hr plus perdiem with 10hr minimum shift.
Perdiem of $114 a day.
Your salary is payable bi-weekly by direct deposit to the financial institution of your choice.
Bonus
From time to time, CAMX Aerospace may elect to reward its employees with a bonus payment.

Vacation
Your vacation eligibility is based on date of hire.
