Job description:

Insignia Aircraft Maintenance (IAM) is looking for AME's for our licensed AMO. We are based out of Boundary Bay Airport. Primarily established to serve Insignia College Aircrafts and serve third party customers as well.

Duties will include

Inspecting, maintaining & repairing our fleet of Cessna 172, 152 aircraft and Piper Seneca aircraft.
Ensure airworthiness as defined by Transport Canada
Foster strong teamwork and team engagement, including interacting and communicating in a friendly, professional manner, clear and accurate manner
Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions
Achieve the highest reliability goals by performing quality maintenance, preventive maintenance and inspections to the standards established by the company, Transport Canada, and industry best practices
Manage complex technical challenges from identification to complete resolution
Provide technical support, including troubleshoot reported discrepancies
Perform maintenance planning and management oversight of inspections, repairs and modifications, including ensuring:
Correction of all defects and the completion of planned maintenance tasks on time and meeting required standards
All required entries into the aircraft logbooks and permanent records are accurate and preserved
Collaborate with Procurement to establish contracts and request or proposals
Procure parts and materials including negotiating costs, terms and conditions
Stay up to date on change in standards and regulations, and industry trends
Supervise any other AMEs or Apprentice working for the company.
