Is this a flight attendant forum?

There's no 50 fin cap as far as pilots are concerned. There's a ratio to mainline narrow bodies and it would be north of 100 aircraft. It's the same job and pay at this point from the pilot perspective.

There's nothing new here either, fleet plans have showed 52 737s to transfer to rouge since Q4 2024, with the remaining 321s, there will be 60 fins end of this year.

The 737s are mainline aircraft transferred with mainline cabins, including business class seating. It is the exact same product, FAs should have rolled their LCC members into their last deal, but then they wouldn't be able to sell them out for their own gains...

What are you trying to argue? It sounds like you think that the agreement is not valid and does not affect pilots because it wasn't negotiated by ALPA.

My intent was to show another example of the company ignoring a negotiated contract and saying 'eff you, grieve it' when the labour group complains.

Go read the collective agreement again, current rouge cap would be 80 aircraft if you do the math.

If the information in the article is correct, this seems a pretty straightforward violation. Not much to argue about.

How is the company trying to justify it?

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

It's an aviation forum. Do flight attendants not work in aviation?

There is nothing more permanent than something temporary.

The 705 section is concentrated on pilot related threads. FAs can go start their own forums if they feel a safe space.

Where is that specified? I don't see anything in the subforum title that says "LARGE AIRLINE OPERATIONS - PILOTS ONLY".
