Job Overview

Are you a skilled craftsman who takes pride in flawless riveting and precision composite repairs? We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Repair Technician (or AME-S) to join our repair and modification team.

In this role, you will perform complex sheet metal structural repairs, advanced composite damage repairs, and major modifications on a variety of aircraft components in shop and on the aircraft. If you have 5+ years of hands-on structural experience and are looking for a safety-first shop that actively supports your path toward obtaining or utilizing your Transport Canada AME license, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do (Duties)

Precision Structural Repairs: Execute complex sheet metal and composite repairs on primary/secondary structural components.
Applying Technical Repair Data: Read and understand complex engineering drawings, SRMs AMMs, SBs, etc. to safely execute repairs and modifications.
Composite & Sheet Metal Fabrication: fabricate airframe parts, skins, structural doublers. Perform core and fabric lay ups, vacuum bagging, curing of composite structures.
Regulatory Documentation: Maintain meticulous maintenance records, and quality control documentation in strict compliance with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulations.
What You Bring (Requirements)

Experience: 5+ years of dedicated aircraft structural sheet metal and composite repairs
Education: Graduate of a TCCA-accredited Aircraft Structural Repair program or international equivalent.
Specialized Training: Documented training of aircraft structures related courses (deicer boots, welding, painting, roto peening, coldworking, etc) is an asset.
Licensing: Holding a TCCA AME-S license is a major asset; candidates tracking their logbooks and working toward their license will be fully considered and supported.
Your own tools & technical savvy: Own hand tools and proficiency with shop equipment and precision measuring instruments. Ability to work autonomously from repair data.
