The first Trudeau was an economic. disaster . again elected by the hippy flower child 60s generation free , love, free this n that News flash it is not free !! n the kumbyeya Trudeau 2 generation of its free hah
point 2 / In 1940's It was called WW2 it took the USA 500,000 CASUALTIES 105,000 DIED to oust a dictator called Adolf Hitler with boots on the ground. years

Instead of the fantasy 'Net Zero' agenda - how much better would it have been to build pipelines, refineries and deep water ports capable of handling VLCCs?.BigQ wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2026 10:58 am World economy through globalization.
Everyone else's recession becomes your problem as well.
Until our economy decouples from the world through trade and budgetary surpluses, we are equally screwed.
Nobody for Canada to increase trade with, except the United States.
Canada would be a major energy exporter to the World imho. Maybe even reasonable energy prices for Canadians.
There really should be a study.
Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find in this business

Looks like there is no need to panic....Eric Janson wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 2:49 am I see a lot of people focusing on fuel price.
The issue is availability - there won't be fuel available at any price.
This affects everyone - there won't be flights to Seoul or Frankfurt if there is no fuel available at these locations.
This isn't hypothetical - it's inevitable at this point.
Things are going to get really bad imho.

You can find just as many videos saying the exact opposite.pelmet wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 6:30 pm

Even President Trump said the SPR runs out in a month.
There's no need to panic - but some simple preparations are not a bad thing imho.

An assessment of the situation in Europe:-

Sounds about right with the useless leaders we have over here. But even as the European Commission reports that there are no "immediate" risks to supply, there are fears the continent is sleepwalking into disaster.

Just because the videos say the opposite, doesn't mean they are accurate. It sounds like something has been going on quietly in the background which is worth mentioning and has been having an effect. Of course, subject to change but if India has more oil arriving than they can handle, it says something. US refineries changing over to jet fuel also says something.Eric Janson wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2026 1:35 amYou can find just as many videos saying the exact opposite.pelmet wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 6:30 pm

India has imposed restrictions on the sale of Diesel and has increased the fuel price on 4 occasions recently. Sounds like a shortage to me.
No Government will ever admit there's a problem - all good until it isn't.
There have certainly been measures to delay the point at which stocks run out - the simple fact is that demand is higher than supply.
