Been working at a big one... seems like they all are, it's a matter of who is least dysfunctional in the end...

It varies depending on who's running the show and employees below and mainly if it's a period of growth or financial stress.

In the end it should be about who does what kind of flying and how it works with your life aspirations.

At TS almost everyone is happy and the work is pretty varied and junior pilots get some pretty good pairings early on.

I completely agree with you, and I have some friends at TS that have nothing but good things to say overall. End of the day, I care about a good working environment that can offer me a decent lifestyle while also paying a liveable wage, and TS does fit those needs

Hey everyone. Does anyone keep getting their application archived? I applied a couple of times with internal reference and got archived repeatedly. I didn't receive a phone call. This is what they say under requirements on their website

Qualifications
Requirements :

Hold an updated certified logbook; Check
Hold a valid Transport Canada ATPL or Commercial Pilot License with either IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams written. Check
Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations (CARs); Check
Hold a medical certificate of category class 1; Check
Hold Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident status; Check
No restrictions to travel in the United State or other countries served by Air Transat; Check
Hold an aviation college diploma , an asset. Check

Am I missing something? Genuinely trying to see if I am missing something

When’s the last time you applied? As said earlier there was nobody hired for about two years. Internal referrals go a long way too.

Those are the bare minimum requirements to apply. It depends on how you stack amongst other applicants. How many hours do you have?

How do you even know if your application has been archived?
Mine says it's on "Review" I also have an internal reference.

I have applied with internal reference. I also have a 1000 hours on 737s. Total time 2000 hours.

I found out that it's archived when I log in to smart recruiters.
Plus my internal reference checked his portal and it says not proceeding forward (translated from French.

Min qualifications are just that… the minimums.

It’s not a guarantee to get hired. Archived probably just means you got put in a pile for the future.
