Position Overview:
We are looking for a individual who’s passionate about aviation and eager to learn the trade. As an Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice, you will be part of our skilled maintenance team, learning to perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various types of aircrafts under the guidance of experienced and licensed mechanics.

Smart AMS is seeking Apprentices in Aircraft Maintenance Engineers positions based in Ottawa (YOW). The successful candidates will join a dynamic team and play a key role in performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of aircraft. We are looking for apprentice in the following areas: M (Mechanical), S (Structures), and E (Avionics).

Qualifications:
• You have a college or professional training:
• You are flexible with respect to work shifts.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Basic understanding of tools and their proper use
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work well in team.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Prior mechanical experience preferred but not necessary.

Compensation:
• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
