AME M Apprentice Looking for First Aviation Maintenance Opportunity

Post by AKDHAN »

Hello everyone, My name is Kyungdo Han, just call me Alex!

I am currently seeking an opportunity as an AME M Apprentice / Aircraft Maintenance Technician Trainee in Canada.

I graduated from the BCIT(British Columbia Institute of Technology) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M) program and hold a Radio Operator Certificate – Aeronautical (ROC-A). I am a Canadian Permanent Resident and I am open to relocating anywhere in Canada for the right opportunity.

During my training at BCIT, I gained hands-on experience with a variety of aircraft, including:

Boeing 737
Bombardier CRJ
Beechcraft King Air
Bell 206
S76
AS350
Cessna 172/180
Turbo Commander and Aerostar

My practical training experience includes:

100-hour inspections
Engine removal/installation/change
Piston and turbine engine disassembly/assembly
Hydraulic troubleshooting
Landing gear replacement
Aircraft rigging
Sheet metal and riveting
Aircraft servicing and maintenance procedures
Weight and Balance

Before entering aviation, I also gained several years of professional experience working in fast-paced environments, where I developed strong teamwork, safety awareness, discipline, and attention to detail.

I am looking for an opportunity where I can continue developing my skills, gain maintenance experience, and work toward my AME license.

I would appreciate any advice, leads, or opportunities. Please feel free to contact me by DM.
