How long ago did you apply? I haven’t seen a job posting in a long time.

WestJet had a posting back in June I believe. I know a couple people who got offered a September ground school. So they must have enough applicants, and have now taken the posting back down.

As for the interview, it's a very standard interview. Talk about your experience, times when you had to make a tough call, when you had a conflict in the workplace, what you did to resolve it, maybe ask about the airplane you're currently flying, etc. Nothing particularly hard. Make sure you have some stories ready. The worst thing you can say in an interview is "Nothing comes to mind" when asked to share about a time. Its a good way to show the interviewer that while you have the hourly experience, you don't have the life experience. Doesn't necessarily have to be aviation related (best if it was obviously) but have SOMETHING.

Thanks Blackdog. So just the usual stuff then, I appreciate it!

I believe everyone in the September class has their offer. They are also interviewing for an October class. Nothing else planned that I've heard of. All for YVR.
