Often down and again now running tired-old-dog slow.
Just me? Didn't think so as any other web sites I'm opening are finger snap fast.
This issue has been raised in the past and was buried by mods.

While your fixing the speed, could you think about upgrading to HTTPS as well? This has to be one of the least secure sites on the internet.

Yup. Been slow for months. Intermittently unusable for the past 3 weeks I'd say. Very sad.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:

Maybe Air Sprint and D'Mello's ads are stealing up all the bandwidth for the site?

Brutally slow in the last 24-48 hours, to the point of being unusable. The site also seems to have crashed for a portion of yesterday. Clearing caches/cookies to no avail.

First time it worked in 3 days for me. Probably ancient forum software that hasn’t been updated in years.

My guess is that the owner is unwilling to pay for whatever is needed to upgrade the system. People are likely slowly leaving and the site will die a slow death.
