We have FO positions available in all bases this fall, except YUL. Alberta we can only accomodate a couple in each base, YVR about 6-10 and YYZ up to 25.

Successful candidates bid for their desired base in order of seniority which and it will be assigned after they accept their job offer, a couple of weeks before class starts.

Previous union membership has no effect on your seniority.

This question may have already been asked somewhere, but I couldn’t find an answer. So, if anyone doesn’t mind sharing the information again, I would really appreciate it.

Could you please tell me how long it usually takes to hear back after the Video Questionnaire? What is the next step in the process, and what are the typical timeframes between the following stages?

I know the company only contacts candidates if they successfully pass this stage. I’m just trying to get a general idea of the timeline and find out how long you had to wait.

Honestly there’s no right or exact answer. From what I’ve seen amongst all my friends who have been applying within the last little while, it really varies. If I remember correctly it took about 1.5-2 weeks from Video questionnaire submission to receiving the CPP but I wouldn’t take that as a measure because I’ve had friends who took longer and some quicker in the different parts of the application process. The next steps after the video questionnaire is the personality assessment (CPP), then the in-person interview. I hope you hear back soon. Best of luck!

I am in the same situation. I received the mail to do the CPP test on Aug 6. I completed the test the day after and since then no news.
Any update would be appreciated Flairops.

Question to Flair ops!

Hi! I have a few questions for Flair Ops or anyone who’s in the know at Flair.

1. What’s the time between the in-person interview and the job offer, should a candidate be successful?

2. What’s the percentage of candidates who go through the interview who get a job offer at Flair?

3. How many pilots (F/O’s) is Flair looking to hire this year (Oct - Dec 2026)?

4. What would a competitive candidate be?
I read somewhere that it’s around 2500+ total time with multi turbine hours. But from talking around, I realised that people with 1200+ hours are being called down for an interview.

I did the interview, everyone in my group got referenced checked and got their results the week of September 7th. I was told that I was gonna get a result the same week.

I think I'm the only one who hasn't gotten anything yet. No reference checks and no results.

Anyone who did the interview in the same boat?

I’d really appreciate it if your HR team or whoever runs this could show some actual consideration for the candidates waiting to hear back. We are just looking for a simple "yes" or "no" answer at this point.When you guys called and asked for our availability for the October 5th GS, it meant something to us. It gave us a reason to be optimistic. We were told to expect an answer by the week of September 7th, and because of that, a lot of us have put our lives and future commitments completely on hold. We are stuck.Please keep your word and show some respect for pilots. Last-minute offers don't work. Some of My peeps absolutely refuse to burn bridges with their current employers just to accommodate your bad timing.Think about it: if your company goes down the toilet, guess where the pilots are going first? Right back to their previous employers. That is exactly why we can't afford to burn those bridges for you. Show us some basic professional courtesy.

It is definitely frustrating waiting and not hearing anything. I’ve been in the hiring pool since Jan, and they just called a few weeks ago asking if I was still available. They told me same thing they would be including me in the discussions week of September 7.. still haven’t heard anything. It’s gonna be hard to give proper notice to our current employers.

We all understand that its a hard decision from their perspective as well, but that doesn't mean that in the mean time the pilots/candidates have to be left hanging without proper updates and courtesy emails.
