Yes, yes. . .nothing beats actual engine-out and partial-panel experience. You could learn a lot. . .

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D

AES used to have an MD500 C-GFKN. We called it the Good F@cKiN bird.

Not sure if it's still there now, given that they've sold off their geophysical support ops to Mustang.

Yeah, HKQ was the blue and white one. Good plane, REALLY good on gas, I'm sure it didn't know how to read it's own POH... otherwise it would have burnt more then it did.

She started looking pretty ratty though in the last few two years. I don't know where it is at now. Shearwater closed and all the planes are everywhere!

There was a small Cessna in Northern Sask with MIA, can't remember if it was G or F or not though. 'Missing In Action' can't be a good omen for an aircraft.

Come to think of it, one of my old DOM's had a 150 or something like that before I worked with him. The way the story goes is that the reg was ?-?CUN and that one of the other pilots used some electrical tape and made a big T behind it. He flew around for some time before realizing it...

Funny thing was that we had a really rough time getting the thing off the ground on a short snowy runway and they nearly had to come "find" what us off the end of the runway. That plane accelerated way too slow.

CF - SEX was first used on an Aero Commander out of CYXD in the late 70's.
I used to fly a C310 out of CZPC (Pincher Creek) registered C-GONG. Called it dingaling.
D, Wheaton (A Chev/Olds Dealer) has a Hawker 800 registered C-GO GM. Actually has a space between the letters
A farmer near Vulcan Alta had a Grumman Tiger registered C-GRRR.
In the USA, Nike Shoes has a G4 registered N1KE.

The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

Best one I saw was a 150 in YXX about 10 years ago. Registration was C-FCKU.

I remember reading that the black and white civilian P-51D CF-FUZ was originally supposed to be CF-FUK, but TC didn't release the registration.

Beech 18 FCUK moved down to the US several years ago and is/was sitting in a field in Line o Lakes Minnesota - de-registered in both countries. Last I heard the owner was having difficulities getiting it registered in the US due to many mods done to it, including a passenger side cargo door which I believe is the only one of its kind (just a regular door on the driver's side). Not a brilliant mod if you're a beech driver.
Cheers,
Snoopy
