I just left north star a few months ago. It was a great place to work (if you don't mind living in Pickle Lake).

Pay starts around 3500.00/month (after you are trained). Quite a bit of time off as a whole, although summer is very busy. Owners treated everyone like family.

As it's a smaller operation, you are expected to help around the base, when you're not busy flying.

$3500/month doesn't sound like much to fly a turbine amphib. Is that on a Beaver? Have they still got a Beaver? or the Otter and a couple Caravans?

Sounds low to me too, I was making almost $3000/month last season flying a C180...first season on floats.

Plus you're stuck in Pickle.

that pay is too low, turbine anything on floats should be min 5K a month.

Top notch company and owners.... Get paid year round, even when the flying drastically slows down in the winter. Nice to know the layoff slip isn't coming in Sept/Oct.
