" Shit happens Dust Devil, focus on your own career. No one appreciates you talking about someone and something you know nothing about."
Help me understand this mind set, is shit happens the new method of describing an airplane accident?
So fill us in on what you mean Blue Skies, was there some mitigating circumstanses that led to this accident, if in fact there was that damage done?

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

wooo big surprise transwest buries another....how many is that now? Guess thats all in a days work for a northern saskatchewan pilot. You can start on the old NDA stack of planes anytime, can't really be worth that much. Betcha can't guess which one a passenger shat themselves in......

Look I never said anyone smashed anything up. All I said is that if someone smashed up my airplane or damaged it in anyway their ass would be fired. Let me say this again "If someone smashed up MY airplane their ass would be fired" My airplane, my career. There is way to much of this shit happens and everyone makes mistakes attitude.BlueSkies12 wrote:Shit happens Dust Devil, focus on your own career. I never commented whether it happened or not. I didn't appreciate your hostile attitude towards someone you don't know. Calling them a jerkoff. It happened to a good pilot and it's a reality check. No one said he was preaching empathy, but hoping that they hang a fellow pilot from the tallest tree isn't a good attitude.

If a good pilot had the missfortune of wrecking an airplane during a landing that is something that everyone should know about, if nothing else we can learn from it.
But to have "shit happens" as the cause just doesen't do much for most here....I think that was what D.D. was driving at.

well i guess it doesnt really matter now does it? I mean how many planes transwest is going to crash. Because to write off airplanes you need to be in the air, and cant be in the air without passengers to fly. With Pronto starting up, good luck getting any. I sure hope management has finally learned their lesson about treating customers, and even employees for that matter too. So all you TWA pilots better start typing up resumes cuz you're going to be looking for work REAL soon.
again thanks for all those hard earned tax dollars!!! and it's "went to town" not "when to town". If it wasn't for all those medivacs, you wouldn't have your frickin flying career, and be making all those hours...if I were you I'd think before I spoke about something like that.SK_pile_it wrote:yah gotta love the many uses for our hard earned tax dollars eh? and medical services...what a friggin joke.....i've seen medivacs where the passengers got off the plane, walked inside, called a cab, and when to town.
"what time is the plane in? "

SK_pile_it, what a bold prediction. It sounds like you really know what your talking about too. A new airline starts up and bang, Transwest Air is bankrupt. We'll see what happens. But a company with over 300 employees isn't going to go down without a fight.
At least it'll be warm in hell...

I never called this particular individual a jerkoff. I said if some jerkoff crashed one of my planes then that guy is a jerkoff. why? cause it was my plane so I can call him a jerkoff if I want.BlueSkies12 wrote:

you may have 300 employees but do u actually think that all 300 actually want to stay there and are die hard "TWA-til-I-die" type of people? I dont think so. I'm sure that when the smoke clears, we'll see whos on top and who jumps ship. I'm not saying bang right away but it will happen and they'll do what Norcanair couldn't.

Who are they fighting? What does the number of employees have to do with a companies viability? let me guess..... you live at home, make 7.25/hr and believe wresting is real.[/quote]

wow, vicstick brings the forum board back from the dead. As usual it's with hostility, what a surprise for avcanada. But why would you still stand by the prediction that Transwest is going to be in trouble when Pronto has operated for several months, and TWA is doing fine. Now making more money on sched than before.
The reason i referenced the size of TWA was because people were saying they're doomed and will go down asap like they have a couple planes and no money to back them up. It especially makes me mad when there are so many ignorant angry people out there who shouldn't be in aviation in the first place, when all they do is complain and hope for other companies to go bankrupt so they can advance.
Why don't you find something better to do than browse threw old avcanada postings and personally attack people you don't know.
And for the record, wrestling is real.
