God Bless Alberta
On the way home from the road trip all over Alberta and going back to YUL .. I have 2.2K hours with just under 500 multi and the fellow with me, 1.3K and 120 .. with a 31 PPC ... no PIC.
Regardless of what you are hearing .. buying a PPC doesn't help ... at least in AB it raises eyebrows.
I wanted to kiss a CP for a very northern company who flies pc12'S when he said he garbaged a resume from someone who had bought their entire PA31 course.
I have 2200 TT with 428 multi on PA34-200's and 200T's, Ga7'S, 310'S and less hours on the 31-350 than it takes to drive from YUL to YYZ.
I am heading to Orlando next week for SimCom training.
And yes UNLIKE Quebec .. I am merely sigining a 12 month training bond .. no upfront money.
My dream job cost me exactly 5400 kms on the ford ... and a lot of driving.
This province rocks !!!!

Actually, it is not a production issue, but demand. aka. Price taking instead of price setting. And from what i've also heard, we can all thank Kyoto. Some of the added costs are to remove sulfer in the refining methods. When the price go above $40.00 a barrel, were going to be paying a $1.00/liter. Unless taxes drop on fuel - and when was the last time that happened?
Oh, and another Alberta advantage? You can now say you pay taxes in a Province that transfers a $1,000,000/hour to Ottawa in transfer payments for "fiscal equalization". But, I digress..

Aren't you glad you come from the socialist paradise?
Nowithstanding the fact that you came to the evil capitalistic empire, you did manage to do pretty good! How 'bout that?
Maybe Alberta is on to something...... Judging by the number of Ontario, New-Brunswick, Quebec, Saskatchewan and BC licence plates on the road I think the secret is slippin' out!

Hey Jaded,
The only Northern Alberta PC12 operator I know of is Peace Air. I tried applying there but they told me that they only hire captains with 3000 hours. Is there another PC12 operator I should try out there or does Peace Air now make exemptions?
Any help would be appreaciated.
