Try asking at http://www.pprune.org, in the "Fragrant Harbour Wannabee" forum. Those forums are specific for Cathay.

i assume you're from hong kong/china since it's my understanding that the cadet program is only open to nationals?

I got an email from Cathay asking whether I may attend stage 1 in April...and I have until Feb 15th to reply, that is like in 4 days....
If I ask for a later schedule will it lower my chances of passing?
The reason is I need to speak with my academic advisor at school and everthing before i can decide....and its a weekend...so i can't really do much...Please offer advices and suggestions Thanks!! Btw I am 5 months short of my diploma...

Just be honest with them. I'm sure they will understand. I don't think that they will frown upon your request for a later schedule as your reason seems to be acceptable.
