A conversion of some -700's in to -700ER's for flying to Europe?Canus Chinookus wrote:the rumor mill has been in overdrive lately. Don't believe it til you see it, you know the old saying? It's a rumor until you say "V1, Rotate!"
Having said that, a 10th year anniversary announcement of some kind wouldn't surprise me.

Well how bout this one....I was talkin to WJ line Maintenance the other night and he said there is a rumor that WJ is building a hangar in Halifax this fall AND the duty manager for YHZ told me there are 2 hangars going up in Halifax, one I knew about (Ken Rowe's new one for the P3 contract) but the second he wouldn't say.....so can any WestJetters comment?
Really?
Where do you come off making comments like that?
The fact that you have some sort of axe to grind is most evident.
You do yourself and your cause a great disservice by making such mallinformed comments.
For the record I am a pilot for westjet. I have flown that route and the loads on my flight and on the flights of my counterparts have been very encouraging.
People would take you more serious if you were to actually do some research before your spout off. It would also help if you were to declare yourself and why you have such a problem with WestJet.
As always. You have my pity
As for the rumor mill it will be fun to see what comes out.

"Hey pile it, you wanna hold my bottle?"
Really? I've had to scrap my Hawaii vacation plans for Florida do to loads and some folks who DO know are telling me that it is the highest yield in the WestJet network at almost 40% yield per ticket. Of course, that wouldn't be like you to come off with a half cocked, uneducated and dumbass post... so I just had to ask.Blastor wrote:Drop Hawaii?
That would make sense. The flight loads have been shitty from the begining. It cost more to fly there than the revenue it generates.
Hopefully they will

Somedays on WJ it takes them over 12 hours to get to Hawaii. Sometimes they even have to twice because they get scared and come home to the mainland.popo wrote:how long is the flight to Hawaii on the 37?
