printer usb problems

printer usb problems

HP Pavillion with a Lexmark Z605 printer. Windows ME Drivers are installed correctly.

When you go to the Device Manager a Green Question Mark is beside the USB Host Controller. Deleting it and refreshing it does not change it.

Computer will not recognize the printer but the scanner works fine.

What the heck is going on here?

Typical Lexmark crap... it is a now a good ol paper weight, get a new one.

That's really helpful :roll:

I've never run into that, but have you tried searching the support area of the Lexmark site? It may be a known issue.
