Porter Airlines unveils senior management team
TORONTO, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - Robert J. Deluce, President and CEO of REGCO
Holdings Inc., is pleased to announce the senior management team for its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Porter Airlines Inc.
"On behalf of the REGCO Board of Directors, including Chairman Donald J.
Carty, I am proud to have a group with such wide-ranging experience working to

James A. Morrison, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Will
oversee the airline's flight and ground operations, maintenance and
engineering teams. Morrison joins Porter from Execaire, a division of IMP
Group Ltd, where he was Vice President and General Manager. With over 20 years
experience as a Captain in the commercial aviation environment, his
operational background also includes senior positions with Skyservice FBO, Air
Creebec and Air Ontario.
D. Paul Moffat, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Moffat is a
Chartered Accountant who began his career at Price Waterhouse. He was a
partner in one of Canada's largest architectural firms, Bregman & Hamann, and
served as Vice President and CFO of Lac Minerals Ltd., The Citadel Insurance
and Canadian Niagara Power before joining Prudential of America Life Insurance
Company (Canada) in 1994 as its CFO and Chief Compliance Officer.
Michael Deluce, Executive Vice President - Corporate Strategy and
Contracts - Deluce has been instrumental in the strategic development of the
REGCO and Porter business plans. He holds an MBA from University of Western
Ontario's Ivey School of Business, and has previously worked with Scotia
Capital, Travel Unlimited and Newcourt Credit Group.
Richard Wells, Director of Flight Operations - Wells has a strong
background in corporate planning and aviation information systems. He has
previously held executive Flight Operations positions at Cargojet Airways,
Canada 3000 Airlines, Soundair Corporation and Bearskin Airlines.
Paul Larocque, Director of Information Technology - Larocque has over 30
years experience in IT in the area of operations, network management and
strategic planning. Previous technology positions include senior roles at
Jetsgo, Vivendi-Universal Networks and Joseph E. Seagram & Sons.
Richard Hill, Director of Maintenance and Engineering - Hill's
maintenance, engineering, quality and production background includes
leadership positions at Air Canada Jazz, Canada 3000 Airlines, Recon Air
Corporation, South African Express Airways, Skyservice and Austin Airways.
Debra L. Newman, Director of Human Resources and Community Relations -
Newman's extensive background in developing and directing HR departments comes
from leadership roles at Bombardier Aerospace, Canada 3000 Airlines and Air
Canada.
Andrew Pierce, Director of Sales and Marketing - Pierce joins Porter from
Bombardier Aerospace, where he worked in new program development, airline
analysis, sales and marketing. He also has an aerospace engineering and flight
simulation background.
Piyush Gandhi, Chief Pilot - Gandhi was recently the Chief Pilot and
Customer Liaison Pilot at Bombardier Aerospace, where he was qualified as a
Captain on the QSeries regional turboprops and Global Express corporate jet.
He has also held pilot positions at FlightSafety Canada and Leitch Technology
Limited.
Ralph Gilpin-Payne, Manager of System Operations Control (SOC) Centre -
Gilpin-Payne's strong experience in flight and systems operations comes from
senior roles with Cargojet Airways, Skyservice Airlines and Canada 3000
Airlines.
Janet Stewart, Manager of In-Flight Services - Stewart's extensive
background in aviation safety inspection and training has been formed by her
experience at Transport Canada, Cargojet Airways, Skyservice Airlines and
Canada 3000 Airlines.
Justin P. Tiplady, Manager of Standards and Training - Tiplady was
previously employed at Bombardier Aerospace as its Chief Pilot for Standards
and Training and is a Captain on the QSeries and Global Express. His
background also includes V2 Aero Training and training in the Canadian Armed
Forces.
Jeffrey S. Brown, Manager of Corporate Development - Brown has a business
administration and private equity background, and joins the organization from
EdgeStone Capital Partners. Previously he was employed in investment banking
at Lehman Brothers.
Jason Deluce, Manager of IT Development and Support - Deluce has a
diploma in Computer Systems Technology, and was previously employed at StarTek
Services supporting Nikon Digital USA. He also has a commercial pilot's
license.
