I'm a low time commercial pilot from Victoria looking to fly a 182. Anyone know one that could be available for rent somewhat close by.
cheers

Maybe if you dress up nice, go to the local Cessna dealer, you may be able to take one for a test drive. If they're nice and want to make a sale, tell em you want to go for the night someplace, so your mechnaic friend can look it over, and you can ensure you are getting a good feel for the plane!!!!

An idea would be to get in touch with a local skydiving club. Most dropzones are currently operating 182's and are always looking for alternate ways of keeping them in the air. Make it known to them that you would like to do a checkout in one and would also like to log a few hours. 182 are essentially 172's on steroids. Same airplane, only now with a constant speed up front. If you need to, PM me to get a few locations. Good luck. Worst comes to worst, come to Ontario and I will hook you up...
