Great story. Yes I'm sure it's been all over the media, but I've been locked in a room studying.

Great story. When I was younger and in an orphanage in Toronto my play mate and best friend was autistic. They didn't know that at the time and thought he was retarded. They moved him to residence in Orillia at an institution where they locked up and forgot kids like him. It was the mid fifties. Ronny my friend died his first night in captivity there. Stories like this prove that these people have value and can contribute in wonderful ways.
I'm sad Ronny and kids like him years ago never got that chance.

Good for him! It's nice to see a kid realizing his dream. And what a way to realize it. Hope that he will have a good and fulfilling life. Maybe it was the break/confidence builder that he needed.

Thanks for the clip.

PS Wish I could shoot hoops like that.

That is a BRILLIANT book, SkyWolfe. I read about a year ago, I think.

Brilliantly crafted, amazing characters, and a plot that pulls you in and makes the book really matter to you.

Beats the hell out of "rain man"

Please don't tell my mother that I work in the Oilpatch...she still thinks that I'm the piano player at a whorehouse.
