New topic
I copied this from another thread.
I think it needs more reading.

" On the day that I quit I went to Transport Canada to report all the wrong-doing's that he has been doing. I interviewed with Transport on many occasions in a "tell-all" format, so that he doesn't kill any of my fellow colleagues. Unfortunatly, we have nothing to be proud of when it comes to our regulatory body (Transport Canada). All they have done since the 2 years have passed is drag their collective asses on the ground. Trust me, they have AMPLE evidence to shut this guy down, but they continue to let him squeak by. At least 6 of the other pilots that quit from there have also gone to the TC, some of them are even involved in long-drawn out lawsuits. "

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

" Maybe, if any allegations are serious enough, one might consider a visit to their local RCMP detachment - at least to get the ball rolling. "
This systemic lethargy or indifference to upholding the regulations is not a new thing with TC.
In 1974/75 I was chief pilot for Air west Airlines and could not get TC to enforce the very laws that I was responsible for in the airline as chief pilot.
It was exactly the same senario we now have in the top management of TCCA, with morally weak or outright corrupt top management at the level of DGCA.
In those years it was the same problem with the office of the DGCA, indifference.
So I eventually filed a citizens complaint through the criminal division of the RCMP, all hell broke lose as no one had done that before in Canadian aviation at the level of chief pilot.
So we have the same mentality today all we need is someone willing to crawl up on the alter of self sacrifice and get slaughtered by the system...
My advice is don't do it if you want to ever get anywhere in aviation.
And that includes going to TC to complain because only you will lose with these pricks.
Just hunker down and do what ever it takes to survive because your regulator is a joke.
Me I'm a survivor but I'm getting tired as the years roll by.

Odd how everyone wants to shut down shady operators but the second a pilot does something stupid and gets his ass fired the board jumps to his defence and we see posts like "shit happens"
Just an observation.
Ahhh hell shut everyone down. Lets put an end to this thing we call aviation. all it brings is pain and empty bank accounts.
