I've heard it was CCE on skis. It was apparently frozen down on the ramp near the hangar. With lots of power it became unstuck, took out the pilot's truck, and destroyed a wing on the turbo beaver as well as crumpled fuselage. Both props and engines taken out as well on the T.O. Oh and for good measure a station 60 on CE. Apparently the same pilot tore a gearleg off and bent a wing on a 185 this fall. Still employed?????

I live in La Ronge but I haven't heard anything about this... mind you I'm also smart enough to not work for TWA
As for the pilot who bent a wing on a 185 and tore the gear leg off, after talking to their chief of maintenance i believe it was determined he was turning and the outside ski hit slush, causing the gear to crumple... plus I know of gearboxes on 185's cracking which will cause that gear to come off pretty easily.
Who knows, maybe I am misinformed....

It was true, they backed a T/O into the hangar door and dammaged the tail. Someone left the door down about a foot and the tail was just a little to tall !! Lucky for them the other T/O was already damaged. They just switched tails and the way the go. They pushed a crane into a jetstream flap the same day in Toon Town. Bad couple of weeks.
