It exsists out of Fort Simpson. Not a bad place to start R seat in the twin otter as thats all they have. CP is Jaques Harvey

I worked with JH down in Haiti flying AKM. They were looking at doing some float work down in the Caribbean but I'm not sure what the status of that is.

Man, I can totally imagine this guy saying:
"Go clean the fuckin' shitter, punk."
I'd still take like to fly in that part of the country though. Great scenery from the pictures I've seen.

Don't know. That was the old color scheme that AKM had. When I was flying it down in Haiti it was white with blue and turquiose trim. I like the grey with orange though.

That's the old Simpson Air colour scheme - JH used to work there before the SNA days.
Looks like Little Doctor Lake eh Magdrop?!?!?
Never worked for him but know him pretty good and one would pray to have a boss as good as he is!

Really good guy, and about as good an off-strip driver as you can find. Whenever I've been in YFS and needed a hand, J was always willing to help.

Yeah thats definately little doctor along time ago. AKM is now at Arctic Sun West in YK. I think the new reg is ASQ. The new plane is GSOL 100 series Twin Otter 300 series wing with PT6-34's a real monster on floats climbs like a bat outta hell

Of course it is a lake over the horn! Where else would it be? I wish I was driving but alas I'm stuck at school until the 20th of April.
Do you have a better email than the one on the cancom website for JH Flynorth? I have sent off a few emails but haven't gotten any responses.
Cheers.

Check out
http://www.southnahanniairways.com/ for more recent pictures. They're still of AKM, but it's the right colour scheme.

In Simpson we're allowed to log drinking time, every hour drunk counts for two towards your ATPL, and I'm well on my way to being over qualified right now!
next stop the Sub Arctic and maybe a night cap at the Inn
