The Walmart sporting goods section. Many years in the service industry. They can't wait to become owners. These are happy people looking to get happier.

I'll ask and post back, but don't be suprised at the lack of posters on this board from WestJet... the Troll known as Blastard is a bit of a virus and its annoying at the best of times to look on here... but kind of like a car wreck though.

We've seen a few guys leaving from the fire bombing business over the years, Airspray and Conair. Guys were 5000 hours.

I met a guy this week. He's a Turbo Prop Captain from the Westcoast, before that a PA31 pilot. I asked about his class mates and they had some corporate fellas, a Turboprop Captain from YYZ, sounded like a real mix and everyone had more than 4000 hours and from all over Canada. This guy also said the next groundschool had a mix too, mostly high time one was a former MD 80 Captain from SG.

You'll have to sqweeze me Amigo Flightlevels for more info, thats all I know.

Well I'm happy to hear we have another one that will bid for the Maritimes in the winter. I've met quite a few CanJet pilots and they seem like great people, just working a weee bit too hard lately and perhaps thats why they are looking elsewhere.

A groundschool every three weeks until the end of the year. 8 pilots per class but I think our 3rd simulator is coming online soon so perhaps more in the future; but that's a guess on my part.

At present, about 620 pilots now and 12 more confirmed birds on the way.

I heard about this guy. Before the interview started...he reached around in his back pocket for his cheque book!

Just kidding. I hope everyone does well @ Westjet.

AC only hires University grads anyway...I told AC during my interview that I had to leave university to GET an education!

Actually I did very well until I "cup-caked" the interview panel

PS: unless you have "expensive wall paper"..they won't ask you for an interview...why would you even believe me that I got the call?

Plus I heard the final exam is pledging allegiance to Celine Dion…I’m not comfortable with that even if I had the 4 year smarts!

Birddog I can’t explain anything you do. I can only imagine if I sat around the computer every waking hour make lame and childish threats to people I don’t know. I could too also could come up with weak, ineffectual, and unsatisfactory zingers. So keep them coming sparky I know you will....
