Ok, I'll bite.
Its not necessarilly a "logo" per se, but the RCAF crest has always been one of my favourites.

Ah, but here is the controversy.... is the bird an Eagle, or an Albatross?
Opinions differ on both the type of bird, and its origin.

It's an eagle! The reason for the confusion is because the RAF, formed in 1918, was made from the combination of the Royal Flying Corps (Army) and the Royal Naval Air Service (Navy). The ex-soldiers and ex-sailors had to get used to new uniforms, new insignia and new ranks. Naval airmen clamed the bird on their caps was an albatross (a sea-going bird). They wanted to keep the naval origins of the RAF alive and well. The RAF solved the mystery before WWII but the debate passed on into the RCAF.
The earliest heraldic records identify the bird as an eagle.
