You mean THEIR King Airs?

Sorry man, you're the 100th person this week to improperly spell their. And to answer, they're flying the YC-XD sched with their king airs over there. :)

HEY PURGEVALVE YOUR CAPS LOCK IS ON.

Third key from the bottom on the left side of your keyboard. Push it until your letters come out normally on the screen.

MAYBE PURGEVALVE IS JUST PURGING SOMETHING AND HE HAS TO SHOUT TO BE HEARD OVER IT...

I'm glad that I don't have to.

Dockjock, we are just shouting chimerical rumours here. Please contain your poingnant points to other topics. :)

Actually the news release is current, the date is just a leftover from the cut and paste. Good eye.

Don't worry - you're not seeing the whole picture.

His grammer is the only piece of tail he's ever had

Grammar lesson? Where? It would require more time than i have just to teach you guys how to communicate clearly let alone grammatically. :)

It is just that i would appreciate it if people did not shout in here.

Note: I realize that even though some here may sound like they have yet to discover the benefits of hygiene, they probably know something about aviation that i do not. It is highly likely that the reason many come across as needing to move their lips while counting is because they never had an English teacher who could speak English or a math teacher who could count. I do my best to push out the mental images i get of a brain deficient simpleton with the crotch of his pants down around his knees and hit hat on sideways and try to concentrate on the ideas and information present.

I do learn considerably here so please keep grinding out those 'sentences' folks. :)

They are doing well the King Air's will be flying from Edmonton to Calgary daily. The pilatius is flying the new Kelowna run. As for the Lloydminster flight I'm not sure if it is happening.

This is just my guess but in the 30 some odd years that I have lived in Alberta, every airline who has the nerve to call themselves an airline has tried to run a sched from Lloydminister to either Saskatoon, Edmonton or Calgary and none have met with much sucess. There is a very good highway between Lloyd and Edmonton ( I know because the company I worked for built a large portion of it) so everyone just drives. Too bad because Lloydminister is a pretty part of the province, but maybe it is that way because of good highway access. Maybe they are going to try to tie in with CFB Cold Lake, which traditionaly has been another dud. Just not enough business.

Sorry Oldtimer,

Highway or not, I'm sure it's your cheaper(i pray it's cheaper) gas,

Zero PST,

and No gridlock

*also slightly cheaper insurance(The provincially owned ones win that contest)

that makes commuting pleasant in those parts.

Old Timers just so you know Peace Air has been flying out of Cold Lake for some time now and are doing very well as for Lloydminster I would agree with you. But Saskatoon and Regina maybe could work.

I think the C.P.'s name is Bill Vasquez (spelling)...check the pilotcareercentre website under the air carrier section for more details. My buddy was up there two weeks ago and was told that they were either looking for people with 200 hours (to work the ramp off course) or someone with 3000 hours. Expect to stay on the ramp for atleast a year.

Okay Peace Air may seem to have a large fleet but most of the A/C they use are Bar xh's A/C and run by pilots from both companys. The funny thing is that Peace air, Bar xh, Quik air and maybe Airco are all in bed together. Sounds like an orgy to me and that normaly = on big mess.

First, Peace Air is not in bed with Quik Air, AirCo or any other.
They DO in fact own the three Jetstreams now, 2 J-32's and basically the
J-31, all of which are flown (with the exception of the Med Hat Red Deer run) by their own pilots.
And, as far as I have seen, everyone working there is pretty pumped with the growth of the company, and they seem to be treated very well.

CP.

the jetsream in medicine hat is still owned by alberta citylink as well as one jetsream in calgary. Alberta citylink sold a jetstream to peace air. The King Airs are owned and operated by Bar XH as well. medicine hat is mainly crewed by citylink and the 100's have peace air co-pilots the rest are Bar XH.
