Has Chalks resumed flight operations with the Grumman Turbine Mallard since the December crash? Are there expensive inspections that are being required on the airframe?

Chalks is in liquidation. The mallards are all parked until somebody goes to the expense of defining what inspections will make them flyable again. FAA isn't doing it, they are going to wait for somebody else to do it, then, if it looks ok to them, they'll issue it as an ad or set of ad's. At present, the planes cannot be flown till the inspections are done, and, since the inspections are not yet defined, hard to say how expensive they will get.

Not a good time to be a mallard owner.

Sad fate for the oldest airline in the world actually they were the first operator ever to have scheduled flights.

Thats true I would love to fly them ole things,by the way I'm heading your way soon but were going to do our maintenance in Kamloops while operating out there.
