Does anyone have any info on when Porter is likely to start hiring and what a gal or a guy can expect for a salary? Things seem s to have gone quiet since the posting in the Globe and Mail recently.

They are calling for interviews now. Dont know anything about money etc...

I heard they want a big ass fuel installation put in on the Island, with avgas as well as jet. A Porter F.B.O. in the works?

How do you know they are actually calling for interviews? Have you been called? Or know someone who has been? Or is this just an assumption?

Just curious because there hasn't been a peep from anyone else.

I got called yesterday for an interview for next week in Toronto they're gonna email me the details for the interview.

Well, considering that City Centre Aviation Limited (CCAL), "the only full service FBO at Toronto City Centre Airport" is owned by REGCO, the parent company of Porter, and that their current fuel farm is pretty minimal (two above ground tanks, just west of the MOH apron), I think that it's safe to assume that REGCO will be expanding their current FBO operations to include Porter, rather than starting a new FBO to compete with themselves (although weirder things have happened!).

Didn't know that AOW, that explains why they'd be looking for an 100LL system as well as jet.
