Just log each of those IFR training flights as "simulated instruments".gr8_2_av8 wrote:If I can do an ifr ride and get an ifr rating without ever have been in "IMC" I sure as hell will log all the hours I "filed" as ifr.
Types of hours to put on a resume??

" think this debate pretty much boils down to this. You log actual IMC time until you meet ATPL mins. After that you don't log any IFR/IMC. If you do, you're just a big loser who will never find a job anyways so it's a moot point. "
May I add that if I listen to a pilot or pilots talking about logging or commenting on flying on instruments I know that they belong in the right seat until the novelty of flying on instruments wears off.
Until they get over that fear stage they are only students.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
