"Take that Fire, BAHAAHAHAHHA!" is a phrase I've always wanted to say at 200ft+ 200kts and actually mean it.
Any way what's the info on firebombing?
I've talked to some Conair guys before and they say they like a good mix of VFR and IFR training and some 3000hrs or so. I'm not quite there yet but any suggestions on how to break in to that type of flying?
I hear crop dusting might be a good idea as the low level flying stuff seems applicable. Any info on cropdusting out there? Course costs/ work/ pay/ lifestyle etc?

Fire Bombing
One of the most recognized crop spraying courses in Canada is offered by Battleford's Airspray in North Battleford, SK.
Another way to break into the fire bombing is by working on floats for a while (since many water bombers are amphips) or by doing forest fire detection work.
I hope this helps!
